Meat Chickens

Pasture Life and Non-GMO Organic Feed

Meat Chickens are bred by the suppliers through very closely guarded genetic choices held secret by generations of family farmers. We choose different breeds each year as we grow our farm to find the healthiest, most tender meat with the highest flavor.  Our Chickens live a life of luxury in mobile Chicken Tractors. They are provided with sunshine, shelter and protection from predators. Twice a day, everyday, our chickens are moved to new grass and are kept on a strict Non-GMO Grower feed provided by Kraut Creek should they grow tired of the grass and bugs.

The chickens reach maturity between 6-12 weeks depending on the breed. Once ready, we butcher and process the chickens in the most humane way possible to reduce stress and quicken the process. Each chicken is carefully cleaned, plucked and packaged for direct sale to the consumer at a state inspected facility.
